We have had so many pictures of construction but so few of the children. I love seeing the children in this video.
It takes 2-3 hours to travel to Konkourona from the city of Bobo-Dioulasso, which is where the masons and site engineer are from. They have been staying in the village over the past few weeks to keep the project going, but took a much needed break over the weekend to go visit their families. I am sorry that the work that helps them support their families takes them away from the very people they are supporting, but very thankful that they are willing to make that sacrifice for the benefit of the children of Konkourona. I am continually reminded that we are all connected, the people in the village, the masons and site engineer from Bobo-Dioulasso, the senior engineer from Ouagadougou, and the people cheering them on from around the world.
