I had the great fortune to work with many people from Project c.u.r.e. over the past 10 months to prepare for shipment of medical equipment and supplies to Konkourona, Burkina Faso, some of whom are pictured here.
Thankfully, Evariste Yanogo, who managed the actual shipping, purchased an extra large container for us, because we needed every last foot to fit everything in.
In addition to the medical equipment and supplies, the container holds clothing for men, women and children, backpacks, books, kindles, soccer balls, cones and uniforms. Some things might have been a little impractical…
…but we are hoping the community gets the message we are sending loud and clear.
The shipment left on Thursday, January 20th, bound for Konkourona.
We expect it to arrive in March 2022!
