Growth continues!

Computer class in the library

There has been a huge demand for computer classes in the library ever since KAFO partner, Business Online, donated the first of 20 computers, so those classes started this month.  Requests for Word training to prepare reports and Excel training to keep track of community donations, water purchases, and fees for medical treatment were frequent.  Use of computers is expected to increase as KAFO and MSN support the community efforts towards United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 8, Decent Work and Economic Growth.  As the community leaders, Library Manager, and teachers become more comfortable with computer use, they will be able to teach the students.

Clearing land for construction of housing for teachers

Materials for the construction of housing for middle school teachers have started to arrive in Konkourona, so the community is working together to clear the land for the housing.

This year is off to a great start as the community works to optimize the development activities that have already been started and continue building a better future.

Thank you for your help in making this a reality!
