Marie and Geneviève successfully graduated from high school and will be attending a university in Burkina Faso in the fall! Marie’s strengths are wide-ranging, including French, History and Geography, Philosophy and Physical Sciences. Geneviève excels in the study of languages, including Bobo, Dyula, French, German, and English.
These young women are two of approximately 500 students KAFO and MSN are now sponsoring with the help of many of you to provide hope for a better future for themselves and their families.
Marie wanted us to share this message of appreciation with all of you.
“Nothing ventured, nothing gained. My name is Marie Millogo, and I passed the 2024 baccalaureate. My ambition is to become an agronomy doctor to help students in turn and especially to support my family who has been there for me day and night. I cannot finish my words without saying a big thank you to KAFO and MSN for all your support and encouragement. It truly warms my heart. Thank you, thank you, and thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
KAFO and MSN donors will continue to support Marie and Geneviève and each will each receive a computer to begin the next phase of their education. Computers were provided by Business Online, an organization that has been helping KAFO and MSN by donating their time for website design and online marketing recommendations, computers and tablets for students, and sponsoring children and projects.
We are also happy to inform you that the tables, chairs and whiteboard requested by MSN last month for the new Women’s Center have been built, delivered and installed!
